What do you inspect?Part number, count, damage. No function tests.
We check the part number and markings, size or fit, quantity and included pieces against the listing. Then we look for cracks, bends, repairs, corrosion and paint condition, and take photos. We don't power parts on, test whether they work, or measure runout (wheel wobble). Full list by item →
What if I'm not happy?Before it ships: a refund minus 5%.
Questions and quotes are free. When you decide to go ahead, you pay in full and we buy. If the inspection shows it isn't what you expected, you can cancel before it ships, and we refund everything except 5% of the item price. For spoilers, fenders and lights, if the final shipping cost doesn't work for you, you get a full refund. Nothing ships without your OK.
How long does delivery take?About 2 weeks by FedEx.
From the winning bid: about 2 weeks by FedEx, about 1.5 to 2 weeks by EMS and for small parts, and about 2.5 to 3.5 months by sea (USA). Waiting for a rare size to come up for sale isn't included.

How can I pay?PayPal or Wise bank transfer.
PayPal or Wise bank transfer. PayPal is one click with buyer protection, plus a 5% fee. With Wise, you pay from your own bank in USD or EUR: no 5% fee, and no buyer protection. Everything else is the same.
What if it's damaged in shipping?OPUS takes responsibility.
OPUS takes responsibility. It's on us until it's in your hands. Sea freight is covered by our freight partner's insurance, and that company decides on repair, replacement or refund.
Why do some parts show two prices?The higher one is the max. If it costs less, you pay less.
Japan Post charges by weight, and FedEx charges by box size. For spoilers, fenders and lights, we can't tell which applies until the part is packed. So we show both and hold the higher one as the ceiling. If it fits Japan Post, you pay the lower one.
Can you ship bumpers, seats or engines?Yes, to the USA by sea.
To the USA, yes, by sea: 2.5 to 3.5 months from the winning bid, duties included. Bids for the next container close November 1. Not available outside the USA. Airbags, seatbelt pretensioners, fuel tanks, car batteries and window glass can't be shipped anywhere.
For auctions, who bids, and how high?We bid. We set the limit with you first.
We place the bids. Before we start, we agree with you on the most we'll bid. We suggest that limit based on past sold prices for the same spec. If bidding goes over the limit, we pass on it.
What if there's a problem after it arrives?Damage in transit is on OPUS.
If it's damaged in transit, OPUS takes responsibility (for sea freight, our freight partner's insurance). What we guarantee is that the item matches the listing and our inspection report. For parts we haven't powered on and tested, whether they work isn't covered.
Does sea freight come to my door?Yes. We deliver to your address.
Yes. We deliver from the port in California to your address. That cost is in the quote too (we quote it with a ceiling).
Can you ship outside the 9 countries?Ask us. We'll give you an estimate.
Email us. We look up that country's duties and other costs, and give you an estimate with our assumptions spelled out. It isn't a firm total like the one for our 9 countries. Sea freight is USA only.
